Kajol Incubator Graduates 240 Women Entrepreneurs

The 2024-25 cohort of the Kajol Entrepreneurship Incubator completes 18 months of business support.
The Kajol Entrepreneurship Incubator's fifth cohort — 240 women entrepreneurs across Khulna, Rangpur, and Kurigram — graduated last Saturday at a ceremony in Khulna.
The cohort has collectively:
- Registered 187 formal micro-enterprises
- Employed 620 additional women in their businesses
- Grown average monthly household income by 65%
Kajol pairs 18 months of business training with a modest seed grant (BDT 25,000), an assigned mentor, and access to a peer network. The program is run by CHRSD's Women's Empowerment team, led by Ruma Akter.
Applications for Cohort 6 open in September.
