CHRSD's Socio-Economic Research programme runs 6–10 field studies each year, focused on the intersection of climate stress, livelihoods, and rights. Studies are designed with the communities they cover, executed by mixed teams of academics and community researchers, and released under open-access licences.
Recent focus areas: cost of climate-displacement, informal-sector wage patterns in Dhaka's garment belt, and land-tenure security for coastal families.
Program Objectives
Produce 40 field-grounded studies by 2028 informing programme design and policy.
