National Smart Afforestation & Digital Monitoring Programme

Flagship climate initiative formally submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) — targeting the plantation and verified survival of 250 million native and climate-resilient trees over five years.

The National Smart Afforestation & Digital Monitoring Programme (NSADMP) combines community-led plantation with GIS tagging, Sentinel-2 NDVI satellite monitoring, and the Nevronus Systems mobile platform to verify sapling survival at tree level across Bangladesh.

Every sapling receives a unique GIS Plot ID at planting. Data is synchronised with the NSADMP Central Dashboard on each verification cycle — creating the first nationally verifiable, tree-level plantation registry in Bangladesh, directly supporting Bangladesh's commitments under the Paris Agreement.

Program Objectives

Plant and verify the survival of 250 million native and climate-resilient trees within five years, targeting an 85–90% verified survival rate at 12 months.
