Chair of the Board

Capt. Md Salehuddin

A distinguished Master Mariner, accomplished entrepreneur, and dedicated humanitarian with decades of international leadership experience. Alumnus of Blackpool Nautical College (UK), his background spans maritime operations, corporate governance, and sustainable social development. As Chairman, Captain Salehuddin provides the overarching strategic vision and governance that drives CHRSD's research, human rights, and community resilience initiatives.

Deputy Chair of the Board

MD Masud Alam Bhuiayan

A seasoned management professional with 14+ years of experience as Regional Sales Manager at Partex Star Group and Square Toiletries Limited. He holds an MBA in Business Management from Islamic University, Bangladesh. As Deputy Chair, he brings expertise in strategic leadership, organisational development, and business operations to guide CHRSD's sustainable development initiatives.

Organizing Secretary

Razib Mustafiz

An experienced Business Analyst with a proven track record in education management and academic lecturing, bringing expertise in Advanced Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Project Management. He holds a Master's in Applied Statistics and Data Science from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka. Actively involved in humanitarian work through CHRSD, contributing to community development and social welfare initiatives.

Secretary General

Md. Motalib Hossain


An entrepreneur and human rights advocate, serving as Founder & CEO of Tahsin International and Secretary General of CHRSD. A member of Amnesty International and the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), he has been active in social work and human rights advocacy since 2016. He has led humanitarian initiatives across Bangladesh, supporting over 1,000 families and reaching 5,000+ people with awareness on public health, human trafficking, and migration risks.

Executive Member

A Bangladeshi social activist, entrepreneur, and human rights advocate. He studied Geography and Environmental Science at Dhaka College (National University, 2010–2014). An active member of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, he works on humanitarian, community development, environmental awareness, and social justice initiatives.

Board Member

A dedicated legal practitioner and human rights advocate at the District & Session Judge Court, Dhaka. She holds an LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and specialises in High Court matters, writ petitions, civil and criminal cases, family disputes, company law, and VAT issues.

CHRSD's Advisory Committee comprises distinguished experts from the fields of human rights, climate policy, public health, international development, and governance who provide independent counsel to the organisation.

Advisory Committee members guide our strategic priorities, strengthen the credibility of our research and advocacy, and help ensure our programmes remain evidence-based, contextually relevant, and globally informed.

Executive Director

M.A. Ramim

Leading Strategy, Programmes & Operations

M.A. Ramim leads CHRSD's strategic direction, programmes, and operations. He has experience in human rights advocacy, research, and community engagement, with a focus on strengthening democratic values and protecting vulnerable communities.

He has previously worked as a human rights activist, collaborating with international organisations including Human Rights Watch and Digital Defenders Partnership, as well as with the European Union and various diplomatic missions. He holds an MSc in Management from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

Ibrahim Khalil Firoz

Project Director

A youth leader and social development strategist with experience in organisational leadership, grassroots mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Islamic Studies from the University of Dhaka and is currently pursuing an LL.B. to deepen his expertise in governance and public policy.

A humanitarian and development professional who began his service journey with the Leo and Lions Clubs. He holds an advanced degree from a UK university and has led human rights and community development initiatives across Bangladesh, while complementing his social activism through work in the international garments export industry.

Environment & Climate Action Director

A social entrepreneur and development professional with over a decade of experience in climate action and environmental sustainability. He holds a Master's in Social Science from the University of Dhaka and leads CHRSD's climate portfolio — driving environmental conservation, climate adaptation, and community resilience initiatives across Bangladesh.

Brings extensive experience in youth development and entrepreneurship. With an MBA from North South University Bangladesh, he combines strategic business acumen with a genuine passion for empowering young people, creating pathways for meaningful opportunities and sustainable development.
